No. It moves air across you, the way any fan does, and there is no refrigeration or mist function in this model. What you feel is airflow, which helps in a warm room but does not lower the room temperature.

Will it fit on my monitor?

It mounts on screens less than 1.18 inches thick. Thicker panels or monitors with a curved back edge will not take the clip, in which case you can stand the fan on the desk instead.

How is it powered?

Through a USB Type-C connection, drawing from a desktop, laptop, tablet or power bank. There is no battery included, so it needs to stay plugged into something for the whole time you are using it.

Is it loud?
