Frequently Asked Questions

What fruit does it work with?

Lemons, limes and smaller citrus varieties, which is what the chamber is sized around. A large orange or a grapefruit will not fit, so those need a bigger press or a different method.

Does it get all the juice out?

The even pressure across the chamber gets most of it in one press, and a second squeeze picks up the rest. A dry or underripe lemon will always give less than a heavy, ripe one.

Is it dishwasher safe?

Yes, it can be rinsed by hand or put in the dishwasher, which the stainless steel handles without staining. Rinsing straight after use stops citrus drying into the filter holes.

Is it hard to squeeze?

The handles are designed to give leverage, so it asks less of your grip than squeezing a lemon directly. It is still a manual tool, so a long session of juicing will be felt in the forearms.
