How bright is it?

Between 200 and 500 lumens depending on which of the seven levels you pick, with a stated light range of roughly 164 to 328 feet. That covers close work and a decent throw down a driveway.

Can I leave it out in the rain?

It carries an IPX4 rating, which means it is built to handle splashing water from any direction. That is not the same as submersion, so do not drop it in a puddle or leave it under a downpour.

How long does it run on a charge?

No runtime figure is published, only the 1200mAh battery capacity and a 0 to 5W draw. Running at the low end of the seven levels will stretch it considerably further than sitting at full output.

Will the magnet hold on any surface?

The base is magnetic, so it holds on steel and other ferrous metal. Aluminum, plastic and painted wood will not take it, which is what the hanging hook is there to cover.

What size is it folded?

The light measures 7 by 2 by 0.8 inches and weighs around 4.6 ounces. The box holds the work light and a USB cable, so charging uses a brick or port you already have.
