Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to switch it on and off?

No. The sensor handles that for you, coming on when the room goes dark and switching off again when daylight or a ceiling light returns, so there is nothing to remember at bedtime.

Is it bright enough to read by?

Not really. At 300LM it will light a hallway or a stairway well enough to move around safely, but it is meant as a guide light rather than a reading lamp.

Will it keep someone awake in a bedroom?

The light is soft and free of harsh glare, and the 5LM setting is dim enough for most sleepers. If anyone in the house is very sensitive to light, put it in the hall instead.

Does it block the other outlet?

Not with the second one. The narrow body is designed to sit within the width of a single receptacle, so a phone charger still fits on the same wall plate beside it.

How many come in the box?

One night light per package, so plan on one for each hallway, bathroom or bedroom you want covered. There is nothing to assemble once it arrives, since it simply plugs in.
