Frequently Asked Questions

How long does installation take?

Around ten minutes on most doors, with no extra drilling required. The handle reverses for left or right swing, so it fits whichever way your door happens to open.

What happens if the batteries die?

It warns you well in advance with a low battery alert. If it does run down, plug a power bank into the USB port outside, or use one of the two backup keys.

Can someone see my code?

The touchscreen supports virtual passwords, so you can type random digits before and after your real code. Anyone watching sees a longer string that will not work for them.

Can everyone in the house have their own access?

Yes. Enrollment takes seconds per finger and the lock holds prints for a household, so each person uses their own thumb and nobody has to share a written code.

What is it made from?
