A single-use trap catches one mouse and then sits there needing attention. This roller works differently: mount it across the top of a standard five-gallon bucket, bait the drum, and it keeps working all night, resetting itself after every catch. You wake up to a job already done instead of a trap that needed you at two in the morning.
Setup takes a few minutes. Cut two slots at the rim of the bucket, slide the rod through so the drum spins freely, and add bait to the roller. Bait with peanut butter or another sticky food that will not fall off the drum. A mouse steps out onto the drum, the drum turns, and the mouse drops into the bucket below. Leave the bucket dry for catch and release, or set it up however your local guidance on rodent control recommends.
