What else can I cook in it?

It steams buns, custard, corn, broccoli and even scallops, so it works as a small steamer as well as for eggs. It is not a replacement for a pan on the stove.

How do I clean it?

The trays lift out for washing and the body wipes down, since the food grade PP does not hold much. Descale the base now and then, because steaming leaves mineral deposits behind in hard water.
