DESCRIPTION

Peeling a dozen boiled eggs by hand is the slow part of every batch of deviled eggs, egg salad, or meal-prep lunch. This egg peeler turns it into a couple of seconds per egg: crack the top of the shell lightly, set the egg into the opening, press down, and a clean peeled egg comes out the bottom while the shell stays behind. What used to be a ten-minute job becomes something you finish before the water has cooled.

It also keeps your fingertips away from sharp shell edges, which is where most of the nicks and lost time come from when you are working through a large batch at speed. The pressing action does the separating, so you are not picking at stubborn membrane or tearing chunks out of the white and ruining the look of the finished dish.

The tool is compact enough to live in a drawer and simple to rinse when you are done, with no small blades or fiddly assembly to manage. It suits busy kitchens, party prep, and weekly meal planning alike. Keep children supervised when the peeler is in use, and store it and any small parts out of reach of young children between sessions.

  • Function: press-through peeling for boiled eggs
  • Speed: peels an egg in seconds
  • Safety: keeps hands away from sharp shell edges
  • Result: intact whites, no torn or pitted surfaces
  • Design: compact, drawer-friendly, no blades
  • Care: rinses clean after use

Egg Peeler for Boiled Eggs, Press Down Action, Intact Whites, Drawer Sized

One Press, Peeled

One Press, Peeled

Crack the top of a boiled egg, set it in the peeler and press. The shell separates and the egg comes out whole, in about the time it takes to pick up the next one.

Batch Cooking Made Painless

Batch Cooking Made Painless

A dozen eggs for a salad, a picnic or a week of lunches stops being the worst job of the afternoon and becomes a rhythm you get through standing at the counter.

Tidy Kitchen, Clean Hands

Shell stays inside the tool rather than spreading across the sink, so the counter looks the same after twelve eggs as it did after none.

Frequently Asked Questions

What egg sizes does it take?

It is built around standard medium and large eggs, which covers most of what you will find in a carton. Very small eggs work too, they simply need a slightly firmer press.

Should the eggs be warm or cold?

Either works, though freshly boiled eggs cooled briefly under running water release most easily. That short cold rinse loosens the membrane and makes every press cleaner.

Will it break the egg?

No. The pressure is spread across the shell rather than concentrated in one spot, so the white stays intact and comes out smooth enough for deviled eggs or a plated salad.

How do I clean it?

Rinse it under the faucet straight after use, before any albumen dries. It comes apart easily enough to reach every surface, and a quick wash with soapy water finishes the job.

Does it work with soft boiled eggs?

It is at its best with firmly boiled eggs, where the white has enough structure to hold shape under the press. For softer centers, boil a minute longer and it handles them well.

GOOD TO KNOW

APPEEL

HOW WE CHOOSE PRODUCTS

Three questions decide whether something makes the range. Does it work, meaning it solves a real problem in the home rather than adding another gadget to a drawer. Is it simple, meaning you can set it up and use it without a manual. Will it last, meaning the materials and the build hold up to daily use. If a product fails any of the three, we leave it out.

USING IT SAFELY

Everything here is made for ordinary household use. Follow the instructions that come in the box, keep small parts, magnets and batteries away from young children and pets, and use electrical items with the power source they were supplied with. Anything that fixes to a wall, ceiling or door needs a suitable surface and the right fittings, and the hold is worth checking now and then.

QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU BUY

If you want a measurement we have not listed, or you are not sure an item suits what you have in mind, email support@appeel.org and a person will reply within one business day. We would rather answer the question than have you order the wrong thing.
