This projector sends slow ocean waves across the ceiling and walls in any of 10 colors, and rotates a full 360 degrees so the scene drifts around the room. It gives a child something calm to watch as they settle, rather than the bright overhead light that keeps everyone alert long past the point of being tired.
Six picture films come in the box, so the ceiling can change from an underwater scene to a starry sky from one night to the next. Turn the brightness down and it works as a gentle night light for a child who does not like full darkness. Set the timer and it switches itself off after they fall asleep, so nobody has to creep back in to turn it off.
It runs from the included USB cable, so it sits happily on a nightstand, dresser or shelf near an outlet. Place it where it cannot be pulled down, keep the cord routed away from the bed, and store the spare films away from young children. Wipe the housing with a dry cloth.
