DESCRIPTION

Not everyone wants to deal with the aftermath of a snap trap, and this one is built for the people who would rather not. Bait goes into the compartment at the back, the touch-sensitive lever does the rest, and the door closes behind a mouse that came in for the food. No chemicals, no batteries, no wiring, and nothing to clean up afterward beyond a quick rinse.

Air holes run along the housing so a captured mouse stays comfortable until you can carry the trap outside and open it well away from the house. The ABS body holds up to repeated resets, which means one trap can cover a garage, a pantry corner, and a shed over the course of a season instead of being thrown away after a single use. It sits flat against a baseboard where mice already travel.

The enclosed design keeps bait and animal out of reach, though sensible care still applies at home. Keep children supervised whenever the trap is in use and store small parts away from young children. Supervise pets around a set trap as well, and inspect the door, lever, and hinges for damage or wear before each reset so it closes as intended.

  • Type: humane catch and release, no-kill
  • Material: durable ABS plastic
  • Trigger: touch-sensitive lever
  • Bait: enclosed rear compartment
  • Ventilation: multiple air holes
  • Power: none required, no chemicals
  • Reuse: rinse, rebait and reset

Bait It And Walk Away

Bait It And Walk Away

A dab of peanut butter in the compartment and a touch sensitive lever do all the work. No batteries, no wiring and no chemicals anywhere in the process.

More Than One Visitor

More Than One Visitor

The tunnel entry and barbed iron door let a second and third mouse in without letting the first one out, which matters when the problem is not a single animal.

Release Without Touching Anything

Release Without Touching Anything

A sliding panel opens the far end at arm's length, so you can let a mouse go at the treeline without handling it or opening the trap above your hands.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it safe around children and pets?

Yes. There is no glue, no electricity and no poison involved, so a curious dog or toddler finding it is an inconvenience rather than an emergency.

How does the trigger work?

A touch sensitive lever sits past the bait. Contact on it drops the iron door behind the mouse, and a barb design stops that door being pushed back open.

What bait should I use?

Peanut butter is the strongest option because it is high in protein and carries a scent at distance. Seeds or other protein rich scraps work well too.

Where should it go?

Along a wall, behind an appliance or wherever droppings appear, with the tunnel entrance in line with the run. Mice hug edges, so the trap should hug them too.

How do I clean it between catches?

Rinse the body with warm soapy water and dry it before rebaiting. Removing the scent of the last visitor keeps the next one from hesitating at the entrance.

GOOD TO KNOW

APPEEL

HOW WE CHOOSE PRODUCTS

Three questions decide whether something makes the range. Does it work, meaning it solves a real problem in the home rather than adding another gadget to a drawer. Is it simple, meaning you can set it up and use it without a manual. Will it last, meaning the materials and the build hold up to daily use. If a product fails any of the three, we leave it out.

USING IT SAFELY

Everything here is made for ordinary household use. Follow the instructions that come in the box, keep small parts, magnets and batteries away from young children and pets, and use electrical items with the power source they were supplied with. Anything that fixes to a wall, ceiling or door needs a suitable surface and the right fittings, and the hold is worth checking now and then.

QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU BUY

If you want a measurement we have not listed, or you are not sure an item suits what you have in mind, email support@appeel.org and a person will reply within one business day. We would rather answer the question than have you order the wrong thing.
